Coastal Scents 88 Warm Palette Review

Welcome to my first blog - and it is on my latest purchase, the Coastal Scents 88 Warm Palette.

I have purchased this product after seeing a bunch of reviews of it from some of my favorite YouTube Makeup Gurus.  My favorite part of applying make-up is doing my eye shadow everyday.

Back to the palette - it has 88 INCREDIBLY pigmented colors.  There are 42 matte shades and then 46 shimmer/pearly shades.  They have some really great plum/purple colors as well as some really rich burgandy and red shades.  I do have to admit that I have to really think about what I'm going to do since there are so many shades.  Recently, I have been using a MAC paintpot in Painterly as my base (LOVE IT) and then use one of the light colored shades (whites, buttercream, silver) and then I will use a darker, more dramatic shade to go in to the crease and then finally to warm it up I will use a warmer shade (like a burgandy) to really warm up the eye by applying it with a very fluffy crease brush to the outer border of the darker shade I applied in my crease.  Sometimes, I will take the matte shades (they have a black similar to MAC Carbon) and use it as an eyeliner.

This is a great gift idea for your budding makeup artist or someone who just might need to branch out from their normal eye looks.

You can purchase the product for $24.95 at www.coastalscents.com.
